Services

Welcome

We are glad that you are visiting our website and, should you happen to be in our vicinity, we hope that we might have the pleasure of meeting you face to face at one of our services, at which you will find a warm welcome.

Service Times

Our Sunday services are at 11:15 a.m. apart from Remembrance Sunday, (second Sunday of November), when the service begins at 10:50 a.m.

The Lord’s Supper

On The first Sundays of February, June, and October, the service includes the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. On these Sundays, there is also an evening service at 6:30 p.m.

Coffee after Church

Normally, coffee and tea are served in the Waiting Room immediately after each Sunday service. This allows members of the Congregation to meet together, to share news and to learn more about one another. It is a time of relaxation and encouragement of one another, and is often very busy. While you are having coffee, you can sit and admire, or get up to explore the books in the Library, as well as enjoying the company of others having a cuppa before heading homeward. On Communion Sundays, coffee is NOT served after the service.

Midweek Service

Our midweek service is on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. It is led by some of our Elders and friends.

  2. Bible Study

  3. The Ladies’ Fellowship

  4. The Wednesday Fellowship

  5. Bible Reading Plans

You can access these through the Bible Reading Plans section of our website! These Reading Plans offer alternative ways of reading through the Bible in a systematic and disciplined way. If your computer has speakers, then you can elect for the computer to read out the lessons to you.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (Galatians 5:16-17, ESV)

The Bible lessons are read by different members of the Congregation on a rotational basis. The Minister reads on Communion Sundays. Here is the rota until the end of the first quarter of 2016. There is a search facility which is a convenient way to obtain a list of the dates upon which a particular reader is to read. Usually, all you need is the first name or the surname of the reader.
