Trust in the Lord: Choosing Faith Over Fear

In every moment of life, our hearts paint a picture—either of lack and fear or of abundance and faith. This inner vision shapes our thoughts, words, and actions. When we anchor our trust in God as our Source, we find peace and confidence, no matter the circumstance. As Psalm 65:11 declares, “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.” With God, we can face every challenge with a knowing smile, rooted in faith.

Scripture reminds us of the power of trusting in the Lord. Psalm 112:7 assures us, “(You) will not be afraid of evil tidings; (your) heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” Fear has no hold when our hearts are fixed on God’s faithfulness. Psalm 34:8 invites us to “taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Trusting God brings blessings and a deep sense of His goodness.

The Bible encourages us to reject fear and embrace faith. “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6). By choosing to “trust in the Lord, and do good” (Psalm 37:3), we feed on His faithfulness and live in His provision. Our faith fuels our words, as 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “I believed and therefore I spoke.” Let’s declare God’s promises boldly, knowing He is able to do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).

Today, choose faith over fear. Feed on God’s faithfulness, proclaim His goodness, and trust that He is for you. With God as your Source, abundance and peace will overflow in your life.
